Founded in 1968, The Hughston Foundation is a non-profit research and educational organization located on a privately supported medical campus in Columbus, Georgia. The campus also includes an orthopaedic clinic, an orthopaedic hospital, a rehabilitation center, and physical fitness facilities that provide clinical and technical resources for the Foundation.

OUR MISSION
The Hughston Foundation is the vehicle for Hughston’s vision. The Hughston Foundation is dedicated to helping people of all ages and skill levels attain the highest possible levels of musculoskeletal health, physical activity, and work readiness by

• providing national and international leadership in orthopaedic and sports medicine research, education, and communication; and by
  
• developing innovative concepts that help to advance the practice of orthopaedic surgery.

A Board of Directors along with the Executive Director governs and provides direction for the Foundation. Donations help support the work of the Foundation’s education, research, and communication divisions.
