Facilities
Using the latest in audiovisual technology, the Foundation offers innovative and responsive educational programming to the general public and to specialized health-care providers.

The Foundation building houses a 160-seat auditorium and two twelve-seat conference rooms. Renovated in 2003-2004, these spaces were outfitted with the latest integrated presentation systems allowing state-of-the-art digital presentation and allowing participants to view live surgeries, view demonstrations from the Foundation television studio and Surgical Education Center. It is equipped with three large projection screens and a Crestron Control System providing complete audiovisual support for meetings and seminars requiring PowerPoint presentations, annotation capabilities, DVD, stage lighting, and projection of live surgical procedures broadcast throughout the United States and worldwide.

The Hughston Library and Museum is used by our staff, fellows and physicians, and it serves Columbus and the surrounding areas. The library’s specialized selection focuses on orthopaedics and sports medicine.

The Surgical Education Center, which recently underwent extensive renovations and remodeling, is a fully equipped bioskills laboratory, featuring a wet and dry lab. The lab contains the latest arthroscopy equipment allowing for “hands-on” training.
