Symposiums and Meetings
Since 2000, the Foundation partnering with organizations like the Southern Orthopaedic Society, the Hughston Society, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and others have provided continuing education programs on such diverse subjects as shoulder surgery, total joint replacement, spinal fusion techniques, and advanced arthroscopic surgery. Through its advanced audiovisual system, large groups of physicians and health-care professionals are able to view live surgical procedures and cadaveric demonstrations while interacting with the surgeon. Not limited to the Unites States, the Foundation has hosted groups of physicians from South and Central America for a series of symposia on Advanced Total Hip and Knee Replacement providing valuable information to a worldwide audience of doctors.
