Sponsored Clinical Trials
The Hughston Foundation supports physicians as they conduct state-of-the-art clinical trials. The latest advances in orthopaedic care and technology are made available to patients throughout the South by participating in Food and Drug Administration approved clinical trials conducted under the auspices of the Foundation. The data from these trials are included in the sponsors’ application to the FDA for market approval for a new drug or device or a new indication.
